Skin Care Tips - Drinking Water

Drinking a lot of water is great for your internal organs but it doesn’t really much help to hydrate your skin from inside out.

But drinking a lot of water AND together with having foods which rich in Omega 3 fatty acids do help in keeping your skin hydrated and supple.

According to US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), patients with the highest blood levels of Omega-3 fatty acids appear to age more slowly then those with the lowest levels.

During daytime, your skin exposed to pollution and dirt. During the night time, your skin needs need oxygen to repair itself. If your skin covered a thick layer of makeup, how can your skin recover?

Dr. Dennis Gross also says that our body temperature rises as we sleep, hence opening the pores, so when makeup is left on, it could seep deep down into the pores making them clogged and then breakout. Not removing makeup during your sleeping time only lead to more inflammation that cause free radicals.

Robins Ashinoff, Director of Cosmetic Dermatology at Hackensack Medical Center in New Jersey says that sleeping with your makeup on deprives it of this vital nutrient.

So, in order to protect your skin, make sure you remove your makeup before going to bed!
